Purdue University Fort Wayne is committed to providing online students with an exceptional educational experience that is transparent, efficient, stimulating and fair. If, as a prospective or current student, you feel that your experience with an online learning course or program from Purdue Fort Wayne has not lived up to those standards, you may register a complaint.
Filing Complaints at Purdue Fort Wayne
If you are having problems with a course, we encourage you to contact the instructor first; the instructor’s contact information should be available on the course website. If contacting the instructor is not appropriate or has proven ineffective, contact Online Learning.
If the problems are not related to course content, course delivery or grades, contacts for some of the important offices on campus are listed below:
- For tuition and fee payments issues, contact the Bursar’s Office
- For course registration and transcript issues, contact the Registrar’s Office
- For grants and loans issues, contact Financial Aid
- For admissions issues, contact Admissions (undergraduate courses) or the Graduate School (graduate courses).
Purdue Fort Wayne administrative offices are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern Time and observe standard U.S. holidays.
Filing Complaints Outside of Purdue Fort Wayne
If you feel your complaint has not been properly addressed within Purdue Fort Wayne, you are free to enter your complaint with other organizations at the state and national levels.
The Indiana Commission for Higher Education authorizes Purdue Fort Wayne under the authority of Purdue University to offer undergraduate- and graduate-level certificates, as well as baccalaureate and master’s degrees. You may submit a complaint at the ICHE website here.
The national level, Purdue Fort Wayne is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Information regarding the complaint process can be found on at the HLC website.
